The amazing FUTON Mattress belongs to the ancient Japanese tradition. Produced in 100% Organic Cotton, the Futon is heat-insulating and anallergic and assure a continue perspiration. It also protects from the beginning of magnetic fields, from acharus and dust. This Futon Mattress is the perfect combination for the Montessory bed by Woodly. It is available in 3 different sizes: Small, Big and Maxi.
Care: The futon is made of natural untreated material (absolutely free from chemical treatments, as anti fungi or anti mould) and fears humidity. The futon needs to be periodically turned up/down and head/feet, and S-bent once a week. It should also be exposed to air and sun every 2 months. That allows the swelling of layers of cotton. It is essential to avoid the accumulation of moisture between the futon and its base, therefore periodically, and especially in humid seasons (or when the child sweats a lot), it is important to bend the mattress in order to let the mattress itself and the bed breath. These little tricks require a little more work, yet allow you to sleep on a truly healthy bed.
