"With care for people
and environment"

When you buy a garment from Boob, you buy a product that has been produced with care.
Some of this you can see and feel for yourself, when you wear our clothes; the high quality is there at every stage, including design, function and choice of materials.

She is Idàlia Correira at Irmaos Rodrigues. If you have a Boob Design's top like the one in the picture, it may have been made by her.

What may be less obvious is the care we show for everything involved in the production; the people and the environment.
To us, it’s a given. Individuals and companies alike, we all have the power to make choices that work either for or against a future.

At Boob, we make clothes for the future.

Factory in Portugal, which produces most of our clothing - Ph ©Irmaos Rodrigues

All our production is based in Europe. We place high demands on our suppliers when it comes to environmental and social responsibility,
and we only work with factories that respect our Code of Conduct. This includes, for example agreements statutory wages, safe working environment,
the right to join or form trade unions, and the ban on child labour and worker discrimination. Nor do we just chase the lowest price,
but strive to build close and long-lasting relationships with our suppliers. We want our clothes to be produced as fairly as possible.

For us, smart and sustainable thinking starts at the design stage. The first step is to create garments that have a purpose.
We then make them as environmentally optimal as possible when it comes to design, function, choice of materials and production.
But most of all, we make clothes of a lasting style and quality to be used, washed and loved, over and over again.

Since 2008, we have increased the use of sustainable materials from 20% to 83% (measured by weight of our total production in 2015).
We aim to make that figure 100%. The sustainable materials we use today are organic cotton, lyocell and recycled polyester and polyamide.

For us, it is important that our clothes are free from harmful chemicals. Therefore, we require that our suppliers comply with the EU chemicals regulation REACH.
Our garments are also certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. This certifies that all components of the garments are tested for harmful substances.
A guarantee that the clothes are safe to wear next to your skin and baby.
